1:13 AM - National Treasure

If you are a fan of Nicolas Cage and Jerry Bruckheimer's production, you won't be disappointed. The chemistry of Nic and Jerry still continued from films like "Con Air" and "The Rock". I almost forget about he was also in "Gone in 60 sec" even it has the lovely Angelina Jolie.

Actually, I think "National" have much less explosion and violence, and more on the story line and adventure, than the norm of Bruckheimer's movies, which is a welcome change as a whole family could enjoy this film together.

Nicolas Cage established himself again as the hero to protect the Knight's treasure from the bad guys. Nicolas plays a convincing hero but he is quite different from the rest of the big-action-heros like Bruce Willis or Arnold. I always found he had certain remorse and sadness in his eyes, which really attracts the audience like me.

A hero with a dark secret ... interesting. Maybe he's the ideal character to play batman, even though I can't image him in a bat suit.

I had a huge suspicion that he has hair plugs while watching the movie. what do you think?? haha the front of his hair just looked too fake!!

Hmmm... really, haha that's funny. I didn't pay attention to his hair so much, I guess I'll take a closer look next time. :)

我係Nicolas Cage fan屎, 最鍾意係"兩顆絕望的心", 但係呢套戲只睇過一次, 因為係一齣唔敢翻睇o既電影~~

Then, I think you shouldn't miss this one. Maybe you could spend some time to check over his "hair piece", too. :-)

National Treasure talks about Knights Templar and even the writing of Declaration of Independence. I cannot think of any Bruckheimer's pictures which touch upon so much culture/knowledge stuff.

Gone in 60 seconds will be shown on TVB Pearl this Saturday.
